GIN & LEMON NO-CHURN ICE-CREAM W/ GIN & TONIC CRUMBS

November 6, 2017

Here’s a show-stopping five minute ice-cream for your next dinner party. Condensed milk is the magic ingredient when making no-churn ice cream, mixed with whipped cream and any flavour you like will result in a creamy, smooth and not at all icy texture.
Here the clever folks at two of my favourite brands Fresh As and East Imperial have collaborated to create Gin and Tonic Crumbs.

I’ve served the ice-cream crumbs on top for added zing and texture with edible flowers. They have been designed for restaurants but you can purchase them online by contacting Fresh As directly.

600ml cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Zest of 3 lemons
1/4 cup gin

To serve: 1/2 cup Fresh As gin and tonic crumbs

Using an electric mixer, beat cream on high until stiff peaks form, 1-2 minutes. Gently Fold in condensed milk, lemon zest and gin.

Pour into a loaf pan, cover and freeze until firm, 6 hours or overnight. Serve with Gina and Tonic crumbs and edible flowers.
